Regional Initiatives

Within the Labex Numev (Solutions Numériques, Matérielles et Modélisation pour L'Environnement et le Vivant (http://www.lirmm.fr/numev )), the team is the coordinator since 2012 of a working group on Modelling and numerical probabilities for ecology and biology with Univ. Montpellier II, Univ. Montpellier I and CNRS ISEM.

A one day workshop on “Stochastic Models for Biology” has been organized in January with Pierre Pudlo (Univ. Montpellier II). The invited speakers were Nicolas Champagnat (Inria/Institut Élie Cartan), Jean-François Delmas (Ecole des Ponts ParisTech – CERMICS), and Michel Benaïm (Université de Neuchâtel).

J. Harmand is the coordinator of the inter-teams seminar about the modelling of bioprocesses (https://sites.google.com/site/journeesthematiquesdulbe/ ), involving the labs INRA-LBE (Narbonne), UMR LISPB (Toulouse) and the two Inria project teams BIOCORE and MODEMIC.

A. Rapaport has been invited to participate to the “Séminaire au vert” of BIOCORE team in November 2014.
